Entry Requirements

To enrol in the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management, students must meet the following entry requirements:

  1. Qualification or Experience:
    • Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the SIT Training Package (current, superseded or equivalent).
    • OR have a minimum of two years of full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role within an enterprise.
  2. Competence Expectations:
    • Students are expected to demonstrate competence in initiating, planning, executing, and evaluating their own work and/or the work of others.
    • These skills can typically be gained through formal qualifications or at least two years of on-the-job learning.
  3. Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills (LLND):
    • In accordance with the 2025 RTO Standards, all students’ LLND skills will be assessed prior to enrolment.
    • Students should have foundational digital literacy skills, including familiarity with workplace software and the ability to apply digital tools to support learning and business operations.

Licencing and Regulatory Information

There are no specific licensing, legislative, or certification requirements for this qualification. However, individual units may specify relevant requirements where applicable.

In accordance with the 2025 RTO Standards, students’ Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital (LLND) skills will be assessed prior to enrolment to ensure they meet the requirements for successful course participation.
