Entry Requirements

To enrol in the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, students must meet the following entry requirements:

Qualification or Experience:
- Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
- OR have a minimum of two years of full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role within an enterprise.
Competence Expectations:
- Students are expected to demonstrate competence in initiating, planning, executing, and evaluating their own work and/or the work of others.
- These skills can typically be gained through formal qualifications or at least two years of on-the-job learning.
Language, Literacy, Numeracy, and Digital Skills (LLND):
- In accordance with the 2025 RTO Standards, all students’ LLND skills will be assessed prior to enrolment.
- Students should have foundational digital literacy skills, including familiarity with workplace software and the ability to apply digital tools to support learning and business operations.

Licencing and Regulatory Information

While there are no formal entry requirements for the qualification, students are encouraged to meet the following recommendations to ensure successful participation in this advanced-level qualification:

Age: Applicants should be at least 18 years old at the time of commencement.
Academic Background: Completion of Year 12 or equivalent
Communication Skills: Applicants are expected to have the necessary language and communication skills to engage with course materials, participate in learning activities, and complete assessments effectively. Support services are available to assist students if needed.

What you will Study

To achieve the BSB60120 Advanced Diploma of Business, a total of 10 units must be completed, consisting of:
